|T2 Tea – Earl Grey 250g Bag – $24.50|
“A revered favourite, Earl Grey was first created by a Chinese Mandarin in honour of the British Prime Minister. Earl Grey is a large leaf, full-bodied Sri-Lankan blend of Ceylon orange pekoe and generous amounts of bergamot, producing an all-time classic tea. The orange pekoe leaves brew a coppery liquor with a pronounced bergamot aroma. The flavour is bold with good body and bright bergamot overtones that linger on the palate. It yields a slightly smokey finish with medium tannin.”
Earl Grey tea is a tea that I grew up with. It’s the only tea my mum drinks. So as much as it’s a love it or hate it flavour, I love it!! It’s such a good ordinary cuppa. Yes, this particular brand of tea is expensive… but it’s delicious!
I love loose tea. I don’t know why but I feel like it’s tastier than bagged tea (is bagged tea the term? I don’t know..). Anyway, I love it and totally prefer it. I really need some cool containers for them. Thiers are pricey and have the brand name on it. I want cool, vintage looking glass jars in a variety of shapes and sizes so I can always add to my collection and change things around.
Thanks for reading!
