|St. Tropez – Tan Applicator Mitt – $11.95|
“This soft spongy tan application mitt is perfect for evenly distributing your tanning lotion, gel or mousse onto the skin in order to get perfect streak-free results.
If you hate the usual hand staining that is associated with self tanning, this mitt will help you, its water-resistant barrier will ensure there is no staining to the palms.”
I have used both the Tan Applicator Mitt and disposable gloves to apply the tan. My sister prefers the gloves as she thinks the mitt absorbs too much tan. I agree that it absorbs a decent amount of tan but I think the mitt makes the tan rub in and apply much, much easier. It’s pretty expensive for what it is however, and after the second use, I went to rinse the mitt (the water might have been too warm) and it stuck to itself making it impossible to re use. Even though the mitt made my tan quicker and easier to apply, the price and durability of the mitt puts me off as well as how much tan the mitt absorbs. I think I will continue to use disposable gloves for now, but I’m open to any suggestions!!
