Fremantle is a wonderful place to visit on a Saturday as the markets are open and heaving. It’s full of food, people and all sorts of bits and bobs. My outfit is all pretty old but all items that I love. Come along and see what we get up to.
Coffee is always on my mind and it was definitely the first place I wanted to stop. Besides, who could resist these artistic cups? Dark Star coffee really came through with the goods too.
We stumbled upon What the Bao next door and grabbed a veg bao bun and lotus chips! Oh, the lotus chips were so good! The bao had mesculin, pickled pawpaw, red onions, spring onions, tomato, cucumber, home made sweet chilli dressing, fried shallots, coriander & cut chilli. It was sweet, yum and I was surprised by how much I liked the paw paw in it.
This little guy is from a little stand called Kachapas. Cachapas are a common dish from Columbia and Venezuela that is made from corn and it is delicious! This one is sandwiched with black beans, veg and avocado.
Bye for now!
