This means an excess of holiday pictures are back! So, because this was now a while away and I spent most of the time wondering around and can’t remember exactly where all of these pictures were taken, I’ve decided to just do a quick photo update!
The architecture in Marseille is just amazing. So many churches and beautiful old buildings. There are so many little alley ways and tiny streets. As I said before, I just enjoyed spending my days wandering around and discovering little details of the place.
The most incredible views and architecture are probably found at the Notre Dame Cathedral. It’s just beautiful and the views are just breathtaking. The view is in the picture below in the top left. You can see 360 degree views of marseille and surrounding land.
Taking a walk along the coast is well worth it. It’s beautiful!
All in all, I loved my time in Marseille and would recommend it. I stayed at the Vertigo hostel in the old port (Vieux Port) and it was perfect! It had lovely hostel rooms and a decent inclusive breakfast. It was a little far from the train station but in a nice part of the city and not too far from the main areas. They do have two other locations but I would recommend this one. Do make Marseille a stop of yours!
