|Lush – Skin Drink 45g – $27.95|
I love this! I love it so much. It smells good, it’s a rich and thick moisturiser. It is designed for dry skin and although my skin tends to lean on the normal to oily side, I find this puts back in all the goodness and softness that cleansers and weather and make up and everything else takes out. The website boasts that Skin Drink is a “rich moisturiser to refresh and rehydrate parched skin.” It also says “This is our rich, thick cream to turn rough, dry skin into soft, supple skin for as long as you continue to use it. A delicious blend of sesame, almond and evening primrose oils to moisturise, organic avocado to soften and nourish and calming rose oil, all mixed up in soothing aloe vera. This is an impressive, rehydrating cream. Give thirsty skin the drink it needs. ”
|“If your skin could reach out and grab a drink, this would be the one it would go for.
A rich sesame oil cream designed to leave a supple protective layer on the face, without feeling greasy.”
I definitely think that Skin Drink does all that’s claimed. I feel it helps soothe my skin and therefore reduce redness and I even have an inkling that it really helps quicken the death of my silly pimples! It does definitely help smooth and soften my skin and I like that it keeps my skin slightly on the oiler side which always help with preventing wrinkles! I know I’m only 20, but you can never prepare too much! I also find that my make up does apply pretty well over this. It helps keep my makeup smooth and flat and actually think that this is a good base for those with dry skin as it does add a protective layer and seems to last quite well.
As you can see, I’ve gone through maybe half of this, and I use it twice a day, everyday; I have been sampling another moisturiser along side with this though but maybe used the other 10 times tops! It has lasted me about a month and a half so far. Especially for those that don’t have very dry skin, you really only need a smidge of this. I frankly really enjoy using Skin Drink and love how it makes my skin feel. I think maybe come the hot weather I might need to go for a product that’s not quite so oil based but for right now, it’s perfect! Love it and recommend this highly!
