Angels on Bare Skin Fresh Cleanser
Angels on Bare Skin is my cleanser of choice at the moment! It contains ground almonds for a gentle exfoliant and it’s toning and brightening properties. It also contains Chamomile Blue Oil to reduce redness in the skin, Kaolin to absorb grease and to cleanse, Vegetable Glycerine to soften and moisturise and Lavender flowers to add a lovely scent and to aid the exfoliant process. This is what the lovely people at Lush recommend for all skin types. It has a little moisture and a little cleansing action and isn’t probably enough for someone with very dry or very oily or very pimply skin. But if you’re fairly normal with a few spots like me, this will be amazing. I’ve definitely noticed my skin being more even and less red. My spots seem to be going away quicker and my skin is just left feeling really smooth and soft!
How to use!
I wash my face with this twice a day (ideally, haha), once in the shower and once over the sink. I find it easier to use in the shower because the best way to use this I find is to get a small clump in already wet hands and rub the small clump of cleanser between hands, adding a little tiny bit of extra water if needed as it doesn’t really need much and then rubbing it into a wet face and removing with a wet, warm face cloth. You can control how exfoliating it is with how much water is in it but I quite like it being very exfoliating. The reason you need to add your own water to make it into a cleanser is because it means no preservatives need to be added to the product! woop!
So pretty with the lavender flowers!!
This smells a little like lavender and very earthy, with a touch of almond. I didn’t really like the smell when I first got it but was wanting to look past it before judging it! I don’t mind it now but my boyfriend thinks it smells (wait for it) lush. No really, he actually said that. Was quite funny at the time.
Overall, I think this product is amazing, however if you do have problematic skin aka oily, dry, pimply.. I’d stay away as it’s not designed for that type of skin but rather as a normal to combination cleanser.
