|L’Oreal – Revitalift Rejuvenating Make-Up Removing Milk 200ml – $13.95|
The packaging is boring, and I’m not a fan of the opaque white as it makes it really hard to tell how much you have left! L’Oreal have really streamlined the packaging and it’s sleek and simple. It’s nice, but cheap looking. Overall, I think it’s ok, not fantastic.
I really like the product, however. It was designed to use in their Revitalift skin regime but I needed a make up remover and nothing was standing out to me and I was curious about using a milk. This is thicker than a milk in consistency but it does go on really smooth and does really help the removing process. It does leave a bit of a creamy residue on the skin, but once you’ve cleansed it goes away. I feel like the best cure for wrinkles is to never have them, and that it’s never to early to begin the prevention, within reason. I feel like with a clean and youthful skin care regime, it can remove too much oil. Having an rejuvenating step in skincare, I think, can really help keep the skin in check. I like having it in my routine, normally it has been a face mask or an additional moisturiser used occasionally.
I like it, but I don’t love it! It really stings my eyes, I use a fair amount of it each time and hate that it’s a L’Oreal product as they test on animals. Don’t think I’ll repurchase as I feel like I can find better, just need to do my research. Really like it, but want to completely eliminate all products with unethical practices, unfortunately the Body Shop have been bought out by L’Oreal so that makes things complicated.
Back on track, yes it’s good, but it’s major two downfalls are that it stings the eyes and that it isn’t cruelty free. Might repurchase but would rather find something better. Suggestions appreciated!
