|KIKO Colour Sphere Eyeshadow in 18 Tan Special FX – £5.90|
Although I’m in Australia, this brand isn’t sold in Aus yet! (please sell it here!) I did purchase this in Florence, Italy but as it’s sold in the UK I thought I’d leave it in pounds for the beautiful British ladies out there.
Macropearly Pink is pretty much my new daily eyeshadow. It’s cute and pink and pretty and has this sparkle to it. Hard to pick up on camera in the pan (noticeably in the swatch below but still more sparkly in real life) it has large bits of silver glitter. It gives off this lovely girly, sweet colour that has a sparkle to it. And I love it!! The colour pay off is good and you don’t need to make an effort applying this. I tend to wear it with my Chi Chi eyeshadow in Centerfold (discontinued! WHY?) which is a shimmery white colour. It’s the perfect highlighter eyeshadow I always use in the inner corner and under the brow bone to make my eyes pop. It just goes so well with Macropearly Pink blended in and if I want some extra shimmer and pop, I’ll sweep Centerfold all over the eye before applying this and some brown eyeliner. Now, the only downsides are that there is considerable glitter fall out at the end of the day but shadow itself tends to stay on well. The other is that the packaging is so tacky!!! And feels so breakable. Not a fan!
I love my Colour Sphere in Tan Special FX, it’s such a lovely medium warm brown colour. It has got silvery specs of glitter in it, very similar to Macropearly Pink but as the brown itself is rather warm, I think it still looks really nice with gold tones. I love this blended in with other browns to create a smokey eye and worn on it’s own during the day, or a casual night out, to give the eyes some pop. It’s got lovely depth in it and the colour pay off again is wonderful. You can easily build this up if you want it darker but doesn’t need a lot of work to have a lovely colour. Packaging is way better in the colour sphere range, which is slightly more expensive, but sill not fantastic, though much more sturdy. The addition of matt black casing does make it seem slightly more expensive looking too. Not nearly as much fall out with this product either.

Overall, these are my two new favourite eyeshadows. They fit in really well with products I already own and Macropearly Pink has probably been on my face probably 8 out of 10 days since I purchased it with Tan Special FX on it the other 2 days. I love these products and they are just so pretty. I’m a sucker for sparkle and can’t get enough!!! I swatched these and always apply with my Real Techniques Shading Brush.
Please KIKO, start shipping to Aus! But if you’re in the UK Macropearly Pink is purchasable here and Tan Special FX here. They’re having a huge sale at the moment so check it all out! I love everything I’ve ever purchased from them and have two more products that I’ll blog about soon.
