Hello there my lovelies!
I was tagged to enter this competition by the lovely Laura of Laura’s Sabbat!! I was very happy as this is my first tag that I’ve been tagged in! Woo!
The idea is to pick a photo representative of each of the following colours; Red, Blue, Green, Yellow and White. Three out of five of my choices come from my recent trip in Europe of which I’ve posted more about in past posts, so if you enjoyed this post, please check the rest out! The most recent was Venice, Italy. Can I go back yet?
Marseille, France – Kangaroo at Le Palais du Pharo – July 2013
The view from Le Palais du Pharo was incredible but the cute kangaroo was such a cool find! They had animals dotted around the city, but, obviously, the kangaroo stood out to me the most. That has nothing to do with me being Australian I swear!
Venice, Italy – Gondola – July 2013
Water is an obvious choice for blue, but this is a favourite picture of mine and I just couldn’t not include it! I love the blue of the sky and the water. The way the gondola cuts it in half, the contrast of the buildings…
Copenhagen, Denmark – Rosenborg Castle – September 2011
The garden and park surrounding Rosenborg Castle in Copenhagen is just beautiful!! On a sunny, summers day it’s the most relaxing place to read a book, listen to music or have a little doze. The grounds were so green and it really stunned me. I would love to revisit this place.
Corniglia, Cinque Terre, Italy – Ristorante Cecio Camere – July 2013
One of the highlights of my trip around France and Italy this year was my hiking tour of Cinque Terre. It’s a beautiful place and has amazing food. This big, bright, yellow restaurant really allowed me to taste some of the local food. We had a fish tasting platter (all food was caught and grown locally!) and then pesto pasta for lunch. It was delicious!
Phillippsreut, Germany – Marina’s Grandmothers Backyard – December 2009
Having never really experienced snow before this trip and being a bubby of 16, I was fascinated with this little German town. It was surreal standing in so much snow. I still love looking at snow and probably will always think it’s fantastic, but this little tiny German town of Philippsreut home to my friends Grandmother was such an eye opener. This was a fantastic trip, despite the occasional -25 degrees…
