|The Body Shop – Shea Body Butter – $9.95/50ml|
So this barely makes it into the Budget Beauty Buy category, but I wanted to talk about it to you anyway! This was a gift from a lovely, lovely friend but I would happily buy this for myself. It is just such a handy product for the handbag and such an amazing moisturiser. How can you pass up such a cute little mini?
(This is a good time to mention that I’m like OCD with photographing my products before using them.)
If you struggle with dry, itchy hands, this packs a huge punch. The thick cream just absorbs into the skin and keeps them feeling nice for a really long time. I usually find applying hand creams annoying because I feel like I can’t touch anything for about an hour. However, I’ve found with this that it does absorb fairly quick, not like instantly, but I really don’t have wait that long after using to feel comfortable touching things agains. I also don’t need to reapply that often. A lot of the time I feel like my hands need a few hand cream applications a day but with this, sometimes I even skip a day. Shock!
It is a little on the pricier side of a Budget Beauty Buy at just under my limit of $10 but it is worth it as it works amazingly well and 50ml is still a decent amount of product. This does come in the full size which is 200ml and $27.95. Both are available at The Body Shop online and in store.
The Body Shop as a brand is against cruelty to animals and don’t test on animals and are really good at supporting good causes. They are owned by L’Oreal however, which sell products in China and therefore test on animals. Conflicting!!
