|Only a few bits..|
So, if you haven’t heard already, this month the Body Shop are giving customers 40% off everything including sale items. This is online and in store, but you do need the code!! (found on thebodyshop.co.uk) Somehow this interested me and i found myself with a basket full of goodies and a boyfriend in tow. These aren’t all for me though I swear!!
|If it all fits into one bag it’s not as bad right?|
So onto what I purchased…
Body Butters – I realised that the Body Butters on sale for £5 became £3 with 40% off, so at £10 less than rrp, I was in! I bought Rasperry, Blueberry and Japanese Cherry Blossom and Jamie bought Passionfruit. At four body butters between us, we still didn’t pay the rrp of £13 per body butter. Bargain!!
Hair – Having a discount was all the excuse I needed to try out the Body Shop hair products as I’ve never used them before. In need of some TLC and a boost, I grabbed the Rain Forest Shine Conditioner for normal to dry hair for £3.90 (rrp £6.50) and the Rainforest Moisture Hair Butter for dry hair for £4.80 (rrp £8.00). Hopefully these will make my damaged locks look and feel a little more loved!
Scent – Feeling like I haven’t had a new perfume in a while I decided to buy the Love Ect… Sun Kiss eau de toilette for a bargain price of £4.50 (on sale for £7.50). I’m tempted to go back for another bottle! It smells so good!
Shower Gel – I’ve been wanting to get Jamie into using products better for him and the environment but he has been insistent that he needs only cheap crappy products as he’s a lad so the bargain price of £1.50 (rrp £2.50) for the Earth Lovers Cucumber and Mint 100% Biodegradable Shower Gel was a purchase cheap enough for him to give into my nagging and buy a decent brand! Let’s see if he can be converted…
Face – Tempting displays on the counter forced me to purchase the Leona Lewis Shimmer Palette in 02. Slight regret to this purchase as I don’t really need it and am happy with the highlighters/blushes I already have, but I’m now a beauty blogger and I need to have products to review right? I’m just doing it for you guys! (there we go, justification done.)
Lips – After needing a good lip balm for a long time but being wary of dodgy ingredients (I’m looking at you petroleum!!) I decided to try the Vitamin E Lip Care Stick. This contains SPF 15! Perfect for protecting my lips in my up coming summer jaunts. So far I’m loving it and it has become a regular in my make up bag and is slapped on my lips every morning in my make up regime. Lips have never been happier! Rrp of £4.00, bought for £2.40. Boom!
Nails – Boring one this is, but I bought the Nail Buffer. Rrp of £2.00, paid £1.20.
Overall, I think I managed to score some awesome bargains and I cannot wait to test all my new products out! Reviews of most will follow!
