I honestly can’t help myself when it comes to delicious fresh food. Jamie and I are supposed to be saving hard at the moment but I was craving a good cafe style breakfast. I had been really wanting to try out Stimulatte in Subiaco for a while now because they make some beautiful looking food! I was so surprised with how reasonable their prices were and how many vegan options that they had on the menu. The food is beautiful but it tastes as good as it looks. I chose the smashed avocado with pickled cabbage and corn and Jamie chose the avocado and roasted chickpeas with a side of mushrooms. Jamie and I share our meals most of the time so we both got a good taste of both meals. The meal I chose was very refreshing and light whereas Jamie’s was rich and warm and had a lovely dusting of paprika. I really enjoyed both and highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area.
The whole reason we popped into Subiaco though was to go to the farmer’s market and so off we popped to pick up some fresh food. I honestly enjoy food shopping so I absolutely love going to all the fruit and veg stands. There’s something so lovely about getting up early on a Saturday morning and picking up your groceries for the week.
I have been so excited to wear this outfit as I had bought these frilled leggings at the beginning of the week but I had to get them altered as they were really long! I had to buy these Topshop pants though, they just make me so happy! I really wanted to grunge them up a bit with a black washed denim jacket and a faux band tee. But I couldn’t resist wearing them with my little slip on loafers. I know that these pants wont be everyones cup of tea but I was in love with them from the moment I saw them. The only thing that I’m not sure about, is how much wear I’m actually going to get of them! I love the mixture of grunge and simple chic that this outfit has and I felt really good in it (partly because it’s very comfortable!).
Hope you’re all having a good weekend!
